Responsible gaming
Gaming should be optional entertainment for adults, never a way to earn income or recover losses.
Set limits first
- Decide a spending limit you can afford to lose.
- Set a time limit and take regular breaks.
- Never borrow money or use essential household funds.
- Do not play when stressed, impaired, or trying to chase a loss.
Warning signs
Pause if gaming is affecting sleep, work, relationships, finances, or mood; if you hide activity; or if limits are repeatedly broken.
Take action
